Spring Makes Herself Known
Bragi - was the skaldic god of poetry in Norse mythology. I’m writing for the first time in months I think I suffered from a drought It feels as if Spring has made herself known after the coldest of winters Last month, I took my first selfie in months It was the first time I'd felt pretty since April I felt my heart opening up, like the flowers on the first day of Spring What I'm trying to say is, Which isn't coming across in this jumble of words, But what I'm trying to say is that I think I'm coming to life again I walked past the mirror and smiled at my reflection instead of running away I fell to my knees and asked God for peace instead of closing my heart I'm trying to open my heart to love instead of consuming myself in pain I think what I'm trying to is that, It's rocky, and global warming is making it very unpredictable But I think my Spring has returned - Laone Molele instagram : @lifewithlao twitter : @laomolele
